Description

Tudo A Que Se Chama Nada is an adaptation of two plays by Nathalie Sarraute: Por tudo e por nada (For no good reason) and Aqui está ela (She is there). In Por tudo e por nada, two men almost end their long-standing friendship over one sentence; in Aqui está ela, a man is disturbed by the possibility that a woman has overheard a conversation he has just had with someone else and by the idea that she has disagreed with what she has heard. The combination of these plays seeks to accentuate the play of words in all their splendour and in the apparent and superficial ‘Nothing’ that the characters experience.
